Comprises pages 1-212 of a transcript of the public hearing on Transbus, held March 15, 1977, in Washington, D. C., Mortimer L. Downey III, Deputy Undersecretary, U. S. Dept. of Transportation, presiding. The objective of the hearings is to receive input from the transit community and the bus manufacturing community on the development of "Transbus"; a bus designed to meet the needs of elderly and handicapped riders, and one that can be produced competitively and at a reasonable price.
