Prepared by the State Mass Transportation Commission for the Honorable William G. Stratton, Governor of Illinois and the Honorable Members of the 71st General Assembly. The study contains the findings and recommendations of the Illinois State Mass Transportation Commission, which was required to study and analyze all phases of mass transportation in Illinois for the purposes of making legislative, financial and engineering recommendations required to ensure an adequately balanced mass transportation system for the State of Illinois.
