Abstract:The intent of this report is to provide (1) an initial assessment of National Airspace System (NAS) infrastructure affected by continuing development and deployment of unmanned aircraft systems into the NAS, and (2) a description of process challenges attendant to timely infrastructure changes in response to a growing demand for safe and efficient air traffic control services for unmanned aircraft systems.
