Noise data recorded in and around a 100-square mile area of southern Florida during the period 16-22 March 1971 have been analyzed in the Noise Abatement Laboratory, Transportation Systems Center, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Nine locations were selected for measurement to obtain representative ambient noise levels in the area. Tabulated data display a summary of the measured noise levels at each location, and include calculated values including the A-weighted noise levels exceeded 10%, 50%, and 90% of the measurement periods at each location.
