Abstract:

The MacMillan Pier Transportation Center Feasibility Study examines two potential sites (landside and waterside) for a transportation center that provides a range of tourist and traveler information. It would serve as a gateway for Provincetown and the Outer Cape by providing tourist resource information and to serve as a linkage between the expanding ferry service, local transit services, intercity bus services and shuttle services to the Provincetown Airport. It would also offer the potential for interpretive exhibit space for the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, Cape Cod National Seashore and Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies as well as other ancillary uses.
