The Heart of Iowa Regional Transit Agency (HIRTA) is currently in the operations phase (Phase 3) of the ITS4US program for its new program "HIRTA Health Connector: Bridging the Gap Between Healthcare and Transportation" (Health Connector). Per the goals of the program, Health Connector project is focused on improving transportation access to healthcare in Dallas County, Iowa. This document serves as the Operational Capability Showcase Summary (OCSS) for the Health Connector project. The Operational Capability Showcase Summary (OCSS) documents observations and results from the Operational Capability Showcase (OCS). This includes a summary of the execution of the OCS, lessons learned for conducting showcase in the future, as well as planned modifications to or additional considerations for future outreach activities.
