FAA Technical Center Test Requirement Plan for the Enhanced Airport Security Test (EAST) Facility
This report provides the technical rationale for, and a description of, a laboratory for the testing of security devices being considered for installation at airports and other facilities which are under the cognizance of the Federal Aviation Administration. The report is structured into three major divisions. The first is a description of the technologies and devices routinely employed in modern security systems. It provides the rationale for the second major portion, a description of the types of testing to be performed and the requisite equipment. The physical layout of the laboratory and test ranges, and approximate cost and schedule information comprise the third major section.
