• Abstract:
  This report analyzes the Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) data for Portland Cement Concrete Pavement (PCCP) constructed in the years 2000 through 2004. Analysis of the overall performance of the projects was accomplished by reviewing the Calculated Pay Factor Composite (CPFC) and Incentive/Disincentive Payments (I/DP). Analysis of each of the test elements: thickness, compressive strength, sand equivalent, and flexural strength has been completed. The results of the evaluation are presented in tables, figures, and reports. The PCCP on the projects evaluated from 2000 through 2004 have shown good test results. The average incentive payment is above 3.8% in each of the years. Over the five-year time period the average is above 3.9%, maximum incentive being 5%. All projects evaluated received some amount of incentive payment for the PCCP. Of the 36 projects evaluated 19 received incentive payments greater than 4%. Two of these projects received the maximum incentive of 5%. Over the five-year time period the CPFC has remained at a constant level.
