• Abstract:
  This report provides information on life cycle cost analysis (LCCA) as applied to CDOT roadways. It describes the current method CDOT uses to select a discount rate. It also summarizes data collected from several states listing their HMA overlay cycles and discount rates. Implementation: The discount rate will be calculated annually by the HQ Materials Pavement Design Unit and distributed to the Pavement Design Engineers in each Region for use in their LCCA.
