Abstract:The data files provided in the dataset are organized to supply both primary time-series measurements and visualization-ready structural files. The core temporal data for air speed, aerosol, and tracer gas experiments are housed in the 01-CSV folder in a standard spreadsheet format, while corresponding environmental conditions—such as the temperature, flow, and pressure of the conditioned air—are located in the 05-HVAC folder. To support spatial analysis and animation, the 02-TXT folder contains the exact same measurement data from the CSVs but restructured into a block format. This block format is specifically designed to be paired with the bridge wall boundary coordinates found in the 00-Templates folder, enabling users to generate time-lapse contour plots and video visualizations of the flow and dispersion patterns.
Beyond the raw time-series logs, the dataset includes systematically processed statistical summaries for each test configuration. Because particulate and tracer gas concentrations change dynamically during an experiment, the 06-Periods folder documents the precise start times and durations when measurements achieved quasi-steady state conditions. These specific steady-state timeframes were used to calculate statistics (such as mean, median, and standard deviation) for each individual test repetition, which are stored in the 03-Averages folder across parameters like CO₂, particulate matter bins, temperature, and air velocity. Finally, the 04-Summary folder aggregates these results further by averaging the data from multiple repetitions of the same test together, providing an overall, composite summary for each unique jet bridge configuration.
