Abstract:

The purpose of this test activity is to quantitatively determine the effects "Out-of-Tolerance" Mode S transponders have on the performance of Mode S sensor operations and determine the compatibility o~ the Mode S system to the potential Mode S environment. Possible methods of rejection/compensation that may be required will be investigated.
