• Abstract:
  This project supported the Traffic Safety Culture Transportation Pooled Fund (TSC-TPF) by developing outreach materials and a communication plan to improve the dissemination and use of research findings. Using the Improving Pedestrian Safety project as a pilot, the project team created a concise project summary, audience-specific speaking points, and templates to support consistent development of similar materials for future TSC-TPF projects. Feedback from Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) members informed revisions to improve clarity, accessibility, and usability of the materials. A communication plan was also developed to provide TAC members with structured, actionable options for promoting project resources through commonly used channels. Collectively, these products enhance the ability of TAC members to promote adoption of project resources and strengthen research-to-practice efforts.
