Abstract:

Michael Molina presents three case studies from the Oklahoma Transportation Library designed to forge networks and connections within agencies. The three case studies – Knowledge Management, the Pooled Fund Study, and Workforce Development – demonstrate effective methods for connecting the library with the agency it serves. Molina addresses funding, time management, and ways to overcome obstacles. Building networks helps raise awareness for your library, demonstrates the value of your library, creates library champions, and increases capabilities to address agency problems.
