Microwave Landing System (MLS) Flare subsystem performance data were collected on a specially instrumented Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Technical Center aircraft. The airborne data were compared with a theodolite tracking system reference and error plots generated. Due to extensive 1ightning damage only two flight tests were performed. Flare subsystem accuracy could not be determined because of insufficient data.
