  Heart of Iowa Regional Transit Agency (HIRTA) is one of four awardees for Phase 2 of the ITS4US program for its proposed concept “Health Connector: Bridging the Gap Between Healthcare and Transportation” (Health Connector) by the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT). Per the goals of the program, Health Connector project is focused on improving transportation access to healthcare for all groups in Dallas County, Iowa. This document serves as the Comprehensive Installation Plan (CIP) for HIRTA. The CIP describes an overview of installation processes and schedules for hardware components of Health Connector. Additionally, the CIP outlines inventory processes, configuration management, and procurement methods for components of the wayfinding subsystem.
