• Abstract:
  The South Bay One-Stop Business & Career Center–Inglewood American Job Center of California (AJCC), administered by the South Bay Workforce Investment Board (SBWIB), provides comprehensive workforce development services through the AJCC Construction & Utilities Pathways Program (CUPP). CUPP brings potential workers into the construction industry by providing career pathway counseling, supportive services, and access to training and employment in construction. AJCC connects with Chabot-Las Positas and Coastline Community colleges to provide candidates with Multi-Core Craft Curriculum pre-apprenticeship, highway-specific training. Coastline Community College also works with unions and firms to provide tools and uniforms to participants.
