  As the Texas population continues to grow and as the complexities of that growth change the fundamental demographic structure of the state, transportation planners will need a better understanding of demographic data. This report provides an overview of demographic data available for transportation planning, as well as a summary of current uses of demographic data within the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and related transportation agencies in Texas. Findings from the report will help guide the development of a one-stop demographic data tool.
