• Abstract:
  The report contains the results of a test performed to evaluate an on-board data acquisition system in a crash test environment. The test was performed at the Federal Outdoor Impact Laboratory (FOIL) located in McLean, Virginia. The data acquisition system was manufactured by DSP Technologies, Incorporated. Data collected by the on-board system was compared to data collected by the current FOIL system. The on-board data acquisition system posed no physical barriers for use at the FOIL. The data from the on-board data acquisition system compared well with the data collected by the current FOIL system.
