• Abstract:
  This Special Crash Investigations report documents the remote investigation of a crash selected NHTSA includes in its Move-Over-Law investigations. The pre-dawn crash in April 2022 in Utah occurred when a 2014 Kenworth tractor pulling a refrigerated trailer rear-ended a stopped deputy sheriff’s vehicle, a 2020 Ford F-150. Two deputy sheriffs in the Ford received injuries and were treated and released. They were investigating a previous crash at the time. The Kenworth driver was cited for violating Utah’s Move-Over Law.
