Abstract:

The Virtual Open Innovation Collaborative Environment for Safety (VOICES) project is developing

an environment to allow geographically distributed stakeholders (public sector, private sector, and academic institutions) to collaborate and test together using a common middleware. Through

research that incorporates live, virtual, and constructed elements in real-time, VOICES is improving interoperability across the country and leading the way in demonstrating the value of

collaborative research for cooperative driving automation (CDA).
