Abstract:

The Monthly Urban Congestion Report (UCR) provides a state-level overview of traffic congestion and reliability trends on Interstate highways. Published every month, the report compares data from the most recent month with the same month in the previous year. It uses travel time data from the Federal Highway Administration’s National Performance Management Research Data Set (NPMRDS) and traffic volume data from the Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS). The report includes Interstate highway data from all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
