  This document describes a program whereby contractors can receive a certification to measure retroreflectivity of pavement markings on TxDOT highways using a mobile retroreflectometer. The document describes the procedures involved in obtaining the certificates for the driver/operator and the equipment. The certification program is conducted by the Texas Transportation Institute through partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation.
