Abstract:

This project serves to develop stream aggradation and degradation risk indexes and geographic information system (GIS) maps for New Mexico. The primary objective of the project is to create field-verified aggradation and degradation risk indexes and accompanying GIS maps that will be used by the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) personnel in the design of drainage structures on roads that cross waterways within the state’s USGS hydrologic regions. An Implementation Manual is included.
