• Abstract:
  The general objective of this study was to determine the effect of the width of two-lane roadway bridges on the lateral placement of vehicles as compared with the lateral placement on a two-lane road. The lateral placement near the end and near the middle of a long bridge was also measured to determine whether or not the vehicles moved laterally while driving across a long bridge. It was hoped through this study of traffic behavior to find some indication of what the proper width for two lane roadway bridges should be.
