  This document summarizes the current status of the Long-Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) program and its major activities (data collection, data storage, data analysis, and product development), describes the work that will be needed beyond 2009 to capitalize on the investment that has been made in developing the world’s most comprehensive pavement research database, presents a framework for completing activities after 2009 and the associated budget, discusses why these activities are necessary and what will be gained when the post-2009 work is completed, and provides recommendations aimed at preserving the LTPP program’s legacy and realizing its full potential.
