  This document reports on a preiiminary evaluation o f the Buman
  
  Factors design proposed for a line haul freight locomotive
  
  cab . The program was conducted using a full scale hard mock-up
  
  o f the proposed design and the evaluation was provided by engineers
  
  from the former Penn Central Transportation Company . During the
  
  program the techniques utilized were evolved to evoke the maximum
  
  response and cooperation from the various subj ects . In general
