A new limited-slip portable concrete barrier (PCB) connection is presented in this report which allows a PCB to be attached to a concrete bridge deck or pavement. The performance of the new limited-slip barrier connection is demonstrated through full-scale crash tests. The new attachment scheme allows PCB's to be deployed immediately adjacent to a vertical drop-off with no loss of function.
