Abstract:This report lists the transportation-related requirements and submittal dates of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990 as they pertain to the State of Texas. Texas has four urban areas in nonattainment of federal air quality standards: Dallas- Fort Worth, Beaumont-Port Arthur, EI Paso, and Houston-Galveston-Brazoria. Specific requirements for these four urban nonattainment areas are included, Guidance documents for performing required tasks and possible sanctions for failure to comply are also listed.
