Abstract:

This report describes the development and testing of a TVOR automatic-rebroadcast system developed at the Technical Development and Evaluation Center, Indianapolis, Indiana This system provides a means whereby pilots who are using a TVOR facility on an airport which does not have a control tower or at which the control tower does not operate 24 hours a day may broadcast by radio an abbreviated flight plan which is rebroadcast by the TVOR.
