The survey described in this report was undertaken to determine what was being done in the way of evaluating the Omni-Directional Range and Distance Measuring instruments and equipment among other problems. The survey has pointed to the necessity and potential fruitfulness research on specific problems and such research is now being undertaken by the Committee on Aviation Psychology.
