  This Transportation Librarians Roundtable describes the background and uses of the Transportation Research Thesaurus (TRT). Jay Ven Eman with Access Innovations, Inc. presents an overview of moving the TRT to an ontology. Andy Everett shares efforts to move to a data catalog and the development of controlled vocabularies at the Washington State Department of Transportation. Rita Evans and Seyem Petrites with the Institute of Transportation Studies at the University of California, Berkeley discuss how their library uses the TRT.
