The Transportation Research Board (TRB) initiated a new project to ensure that they sent the right publications to the right people at the right time. Central to this project is making sure that state departments of transportation receive the right quantities of publications in the right format. They focused on electronic access first; a physical copy at the state DOT library second; and individual hard copies as needed. Michael LaPlante, Director of Finance with the TRB, speaks about beta testing the project and invites two state librarians who participated in the beta test to share their experiences and challenges.
