Abstract:

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Research and Innovative Technology Administration (RITA), is developing a new knowledge management system. Transportation Specialist Alasdair Cain shares how the new system assists RITA with research coordination, facilitation, and strategic planning efforts. The knowledge management system provides DOT staff with a tool to quickly answer requests from external stakeholders for information on research, development, and technology programs and projects.
