Attached is a summary of the total number and amounts of earmarked projects that were repurposed by each State and territory during FY 2016. Also attached is a detailed list of earmarked projects that were submitted during the 4th quarter of FY 2016 for repurposing. The FHWA previously submitted a report on 3rd quarter requests for repurposing that contained information on all repurposing requests submitted to FHWA through June 30, 2016. Since the transmittal of the previous report, FHWA has completed processing those 3rd quarter requests, which has resulted in amendments to the prior list of earmarked projects. As such, the amended 3rd quarter list of earmarked projects submitted for repurposing is also attached. Each State has reviewed the list and certified that the earmarks were eligible for repurposing, the projects receiving the funding are within 50 miles of the earmark location within the State, and the funding will be obligated for eligible purposes as required in the Repurposing Provision.
