Abstract:

This annual report addresses Section 7308(b) of the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act (FAST Act; P.L. 114-94; Dec. 4, 2015) by summarizing the progress of tank car safety upgrades, from 2013 through 2023, by tank car and flammable liquid type—as defined by the Association of American Railroads (AAR).
