The District Department of Transportation Library was founded in 2011 after going through various incarnations over the years. Katie Crabb reflects on the process of building the library from the ground up. Crabb describes digitization projects and the social media work involved in promoting the collections. As a solo librarian, it took about four years to catalog the resources. The library includes books, archival materials, and a large photo collection.
