The purpose of this research initiative is to investigate the effects of the degree of curvature on the behavior of curved integral abutment structures, with consideration for various skews, span lengths and layouts, and pile cantilever lengths. The results of this research will provide recommendations to implement findings through a design guideline, to enhance the bridge design practice throughout the region.
