Precursor Systems Analyses of Automated Highway Systems Resource Materials AHS PSA Malfunction Management and Analysis
The overall goal of this task included defining the boundaries of an AHS, establish functional requirements, and suggesting potential configuration. Then developing operational sequences through which functions are executed and identifying allocated subsystems were performed. Metrics to gauge severity levels of malfunctions were developed and used to assess malfunctions. similarities and differences between malfunctions and system configurations were examined to develop strategies to mitigate or avoid malfunctions and to raise issues and risks involved with the AHS.
