This manual provides hydraulic design methods for various types of flexible channel linings. The permanent linings include vegetation and dumped rock riprap. The temporary linings are fiber glass roving, jutemesh, excelsior mat, and erosionet. Properly designed flexible discussed in the manual. linings have a number of advantages which are also Design charts and tables; computation sheets and examples; and sample specifications are provided in the manual.
