Abstract:

This TechNote presents some of the successes of sprayed ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) in Europe and the United States and discusses some of the challenges of using it, thus aiming to encourage and facilitate its adoption in the United States. This technology shows great promise, given its potential to lower UHPC placement costs and enable new applications that can benefit from the properties of UHPC.
