Abstract:

During this last meeting of 2022, librarians from the National Transportation Library (NTL) present the 2022 annual report. Mary Moulton shares information about new collections in ROSA P, collection development and digitization projects, and collaboration with federal agencies. Moulton also provides an update about changes coming to the DOT Public Access plan. Reference Librarian Rosalyn Alleman shares updates about new outreach and programming initiatives. Highlights from the Reference Team include responding to research requests for Secretary Buttigieg’s office and other DOT staff, providing database training to DOT staff, and updating FAQs. Peyton Tvrdy, graduate student at the University of Illinois, discusses her practicum experience at the NTL. Tvrdy shares the process of learning to catalog and working on a legacy data rescue project.
