Abstract:We will apply our results from neuroscience and safe control to improve driver-assistance technology as follows. First, we will study the use of visual attention information to detect risks early, before the failure to detect risk-critical obstacles can be identified from the drivers' control action and vehicle states. Second, we will find safer control actions even when conventional methods, which are unnecessarily conservative, become infeasible in finding safe intervention strategies.
The total size of the zip file is 2.71 MB. The .mat file extension is associated with Ox. Ox is an object-oriented statistical system. At its core is a powerful matrix language, which is complemented by a comprehensive statistical library (for more information on the .mat file type and associated software, please visit https://www.file-extensions.org/mat-file-extension-ox-object-oriented-matrix-programming-language-matrix). The file extension .md is among others related to texts and source codes in Markdown markup language. Markdown is a lightweight markup language, to write using an easy-to-read, easy-to-write plain text format, then convert it to structurally valid XHTML (or HTML) (for more information on .md files and software, please visit https://www.file-extensions.org/md-file-extension). The .pdf file format is an Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF) file and can be opened with the Adobe Acrobat software. File extension .m is associated with the Objective-C, a general-purpose, object-oriented programming language based on Smalltalk language developed by Apple, Inc (for more information on the .m file type and associated software, please visit https://www.file-extensions.org/m-file-extension).
