Abstract:

This advisory circular (AC) provides methods acceptable to the Administrator for showing compliance with the hand fire extinguisher provisions in Parts 25, 29, 91, 121, 125, 127, and 135 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), and provides updated general information. In addition, the information in this AC is considered acceptable for use by the owners/operators of small aircraft.
