Abstract:

This report presents an assessment of environmental aspects and engineering factors related to the utilization of recycled materials in highway construction. A basic overview and assessment of different technologies, processes, and methods for recycling of various material into highway appurtenances and for highway construction are presented with consideration of environmental/health risks.
