• Abstract:
  In 2019, a pilot program was initiated by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) in consultation with the Wisconsin County Highway Association (WCHA) to streamline the delivery and oversight of Low-Risk local bridge projects. The goal of this research project was to evaluate the Low-Risk bridge pilot program and make recommendations before its implementation on a larger scale. Expanded data on sixteen pilot projects and fifty control projects were obtained and analyzed.
