Guidelines for the development and implementation of a material-sampling and testing program for each test site included in the Specific Pavement Studies-10 (SPS-10) warm-mix asphalt study are presented in this report. These guidelines should be followed by a Federal Highway Administration Long-Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) regional support contractor to develop a material-sampling and testing plan tailored to each SPS-10 project. Field materials sampling and testing should be performed with the guidelines presented in this report and those contained in the SHRP-LTPP Guide for Field Material Sampling, Testing, and Handling. All laboratory testing should conform to the guidelines contained in the Long-Term Pavement Performance Project Laboratory Materials Testing and Handling Guide.
