• Abstract:
  On all public roads in Arkansas during 2007 there were: 66,393 total crashes reported, a 1.6% decrease from 2006 584 fatal crashes reported, a 2.0% decrease from 2006 650 fatalities reported, a 2.3% decrease from 2006 276 alcohol/drug related fatalities, an 10.1% decrease from 2006 32.4 billion vehicle miles traveled, a 1.1 % increase from 2006. The fatality rate decreased from 2.1 fatalities in 2006 to 2.0 fatalities per 100 MVM* traveled. The fatal crash rate decreased from 1.9 in 2006 to 1.8 crashes per 100 MVM* traveled.
