On December 4, 2018, the “Frank LoBiondo Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2018” was enacted as Public Law 115-282 (LoBiondo Act or Act). The LoBiondo Act made a number of changes affecting the Federal Maritime Commission (Commission) and the Shipping Act of 1984 (Shipping Act).
