The purpose of this research project is to: Evaluate an ultra-rapid assessment for screening aggregates to determine their reactivity when subject to alkali-silica reaction (ASR). The most reliable test method takes a full year and two years when considering mitigation using supplementary cementitious materials such as fly ash. This rapid screening method has potential to screen out highly reactive aggregates
