This student exercise book has been developed for use as an interactive teaching tool and a companion workbook for Course No. 13236 Module 6 “Earth Retaining Structures”, and is not intended to be used as an individual exercise book. The extents and depths of the problems presented in this exercise book are limited due to the time constraint of the course schedule. Detailed design examples illustrating the principles and analyses of each wall type are included in Module 6 “Earth Retaining Structures” Reference Manual 025).
